A’Ibom gov warns against lobbying for civil service jobs
Umo Eno, the governor of Akwa Ibom State, has warned his political associates and buddies that they will be let down if they approach him for a position in the state's civil service.
Speaking during Saturday's Monthly Prayer Service at the Latter House Chapel, Government House, Uyo, Eno issued the warning.
He revealed that just 3,000 of the 15,000 Akwa Ibom kids who applied would be offered employment, and that the hiring process would be computer-based to guarantee fairness for all applicants.
According to what I have been told, 15,000 young Akwa Ibom people applied for the civil service position. We want to engage with 3000. In actuality, the test will be computer-based. When you are done, the results are displayed so you can see if you passed or not.
