All the 18 gates of Haani Kund Barrage have
been opened completely.
More than 3300 cusecs of water has been
diverted towards Delhi.
Flood in Punjab, nature's fury in Himachal and
tragedy in Uttarakhand.
The monsoon of the year 2025 is showing its fierce form before leaving.
Its direction has now turned towards Haryana.
After wreaking havoc in all three states, now
it seems as if nature has turned its angry eyes towards Haryana.
Yamuna and Ghaggar rivers are eager to engulf
Haryana.
The overflowing Yamuna river also showed its
fierce form to Haani Kund Barrage today.
The officials were shaken and all the flood
gates were opened after 105000 cusecs of water came in from late night.
At this moment I am present at Hatnikund
Barrage and you can see that all the 18 gates of Hatnikund Barrage have been
opened completely.
More than 3300 cusecs of water has been
diverted towards Delhi.
On one hand Yamuna river is drowning human rule
with its speed and on the other hand Ghagar river entering Panchkula in Haryana
from Himachal is also creating havoc. Whatever is coming in the way of Ghagar
entering Haryana from Panchkula, it is swallowing it in its lap.
Ghagar is a seasonal river. But the rain water
has given it such a fierce and terrifying form that everyone's heart shivers
after seeing it. Yes, due to continuous rain, the joints of the village have
overflowed. For this, the Sarpanch Sahab has made arrangements since night.
But the water in the fields has been balanced.
At present, the low lying areas are filled with water. But the crops are still
protected and if it rains in the future, there are high chances of losses.
However, the excess rainwater that we have is
causing losses at this time. The couple is standing with the Sarpanch sahab to
collect water inside the house at night.
The whole family is working day and night.
It is raining in the mountains. There is a
possibility of the water level of Ghaggar rising. What do you think? Look at
how much loss it will cause.
The water that will come in the mountains will
overflow and no one is going to stop it. The Ghaggar river is showing its fury
from Panchkula to Sirsa.
Seeing the water level of Ghaggar, the concern
of the villagers of Sirsa has increased.
Farms,
houses, roads, all are getting submerged in the lap of Ghaggar. In Sirsa
district itself, the embankments of the river are getting weak due to
continuous rain.
The situation in village Khairka of Sirsa
remains critical.
This continuous rain is also very harmful. Like
the water tanks of the village have become overfull. Water has entered the
houses of the people and Ghaggar has come from this side and it is raining on
the other side.
The water is doubling, due to this the danger
is even more.
If the rain stops, then there is a possibility
of the danger reducing.
How much damage do you think the crops have
suffered right now? As far as crops are concerned, some part of our village
Kheerega, which was paddy-rich, has been submerged.
The villagers are keeping an eye on the
situation by guarding the embankments at their own level.
The villagers say that if the water level of
Ghaggar increases further, then the situation can worsen. If the water level of
the river rises further, a flood-like situation will arise in the village and
already due to the rising water level of Ghaggar, crops standing on dozens of
acres have been destroyed. Be it Yamuna, Ghaggar or the Dangri river passing
through Ambala, like Punjab, Haryana is also on alert due to rivers.
These overflowing rivers have knocked on the
doors of Haryana.
Now we are waiting for the administration's
arrangements to be exposed and it will also be interesting to see how these
rivers spoil the claims and arrangements made throughout the year regarding
rain.
