Three Republican-led states to send hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington

Washington — As part of a government crackdown on homelessness and crime, three Republican-led states said on Saturday that they were sending hundreds of National Guard personnel to the nation's capital to support the Trump administration's efforts to restructure Washington enforcement.
