Ukraine tensions: Russia condemns destructive US troop increase in Europe

Russia has sentenced a US choice to send additional soldiers to Europe to help its partners in the midst of proceeding with fears of a Russian attack of Ukraine.

Moscow said it was a "damaging" venture which increased pressure and diminished the extension for a political arrangement.

The Pentagon said 2,000 US troops would be sent from North Carolina to Poland and Germany, and a further 1,000 currently in Germany would go to Romania.

Russia has around 100,000 soldiers close to Ukraine. It denies intending to attack.

The strains come eight years after Russia attached Ukraine's southern Crimea landmass and moved a ridiculous defiance in the eastern Donbas locale.
