 Biden cautions Americans in Ukraine to leave, says sending troops to empty would be 'universal conflict'

President Joe Biden gave an admonition Thursday to any Americans who stay in Ukraine as Russia keeps on undermining an intrusion: Leave.

"American residents should leave now," Biden said in a meeting with NBC News anchor Lester Holt.

"Dislike we're managing a fear monger association. We're managing perhaps the biggest armed force on the planet. It's an altogether different circumstance, and things could go off the deep end rapidly," he said.

Holt asked Biden what situation could incite him to send troops to save Americans escaping the country. Biden answered: "There's not. That is a universal conflict when Americans and Russia begin taking shots at each other."
